Vacancy position in all Grades of the Judicial Services in the State of Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram & Arunachal Pradesh as per orders of Hon’ble Supreme Court dt. 4.1.2007 passed in Civil Appeal No 1867/2006 (Malik Mazhar Sultan Vs. U.P. Public Service Commission & Ors)

It is for information to all concerned that the vacancy position in all Grades of the Judicial Services in the State of Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram & Arunachal Pradesh is as follows: -

Assam

Grade-I

(Available Vacancies – Actual and Anticipated*: 29+12 =41)
[Of existing 29 vacant Posts 12 are with infrastructure and 17 are without infrastructure]
(*Anticipated Vacancies are calculated on the basis of posts, which are likely to become vacant due to retirement in the year 2011.Retirement age is computed as 58 years as provided in the Rules. However, an amendment of Rules increasing the age of superannuation to 60 years is pending with the Govt.)
