PAPER-I
Subjective/narrative type questions - 3 hours - 200 marks
PAPER-II
Subjective/narrative type questions - 3 hours - 200 marks
PAPER- III
Subjective/narrative type questions - 3 hours - 200 marks
PAPER-IV
3 hours - 100 marks
English Essay - 50 marks
Hindi Essay - 50 marks
PAPER- V
2 hours - General Knowledge
100 Objective type multiple choice questions - 50 marks
Total 750 marks


Note: - "Keeping in view the number of applications received, the High Court may hold a preliminary examination consisting of objective type questions from the syllabus as prescribed for the main written examination for short listing the candidates.

Additional District Judge Examination Punjab, Punjab Superior Judicial Service


IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT CHANDIGARH
NOTIFICATION
Dated, Chandigarh 8th April 2011

Applications are invited for selection of 8 (eight) candidates (4 from Scheduled Caste Category, 2 from General Category, 1 from Backward Class Category and 1 from Physically Challenged Category of Locomotor or Orthopaedic Disability), for appointment to Punjab Superior Judicial Service by direct recruitment, in the State of Punjab through competitive examination under Rule 7(3)(c) of Punjab Superior Judicial Service Rules, 2007. The number of posts will be subiect to variation. Any person, who fulfills the following conditions, may apply to the Registrar General, High Court of Punjab and Haryana, Chandigarh

Last Date:

The last date for submission of application forms for the Advocates enrolled with the District/Sub-Divisional Bar Associations of Punjab, Haryana and U.T., Chandigarh is 30.4.2011. All such Advocates will submit the application forms in the office of District and Sessions Judges concerned. However, all others will send/submit the application forms directly to the Registrar General, High Court of Punjab and Haryana, Chandigarh in an envelope superscribed as "Application for the post of Additional District Judge in the State of Punjab" on or before 5.5.2011 by 5.00 P.M
